Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to share their experience. This is a test version, and we are still learning. It has not yet been independently audited. We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA.

What you can do

• Take part by typing, speaking, or on paper.
• Have any question read out loud.
• Change text size, font (including an easy-to-read font), spacing and colours, using the Accessibility button at the top of every page.
• Use a keyboard for everything, and a screen reader. Pages have headings and landmarks, and new messages in the chat are announced.
• Read an Easy Read guide, or print the questions.
• Skip any question, and review and edit your answers before you send them.

What we know is not perfect

• Speech-to-text depends on your browser and is not available in every browser.
• The site is in English only for now. Your browser’s translate feature may help. Translation is planned.
• Charts in the staff area have a table view, but we have not yet tested them with every screen reader.
